Playing Virtual Craps is just like playing Craps in a land-based
casino except you don’t have 20 people crowded around the
table excited and laughing. When you are playing this type of
Craps all you have to do is place your bets where you want them
and click the roll button. If you are betting with the ‘shooter’
you will win if the dice land on a natural, which is a 7 or 11.
If the dice land on a point with the first roll the dice have
to be rolled again to decide who wins.
There are a lot of different ways to bet in this game and if
you are a new player you will want to know about all of them.
One of the most popular types of bets that are made is called
the Pass Line Bet (or the Front Line Bet). This bet can be made
before the come out roll or the first roll of the game is made.
If you make this bet you will win if the dice land on a 7 or 11,
lose if they land on a 2, 3, or 12. If the dice land on a, 4,5,6,8,9,
or 10 then a point is established and to win after a point has
been established the dice have to land on that number again before
a 7 is rolled. A Don’t Pass Line Bet (also known as the
Black Line) is when you are betting the exact opposite of the
Pass Line bet. If you make this bet you win if a 2 or 3 is rolled
and lose automatically if a natural is rolled, a 12 will get you
a tie. With this bet if a point is established you will win if
a 7 is rolled before the point is rolled again. These two bets
are the most popular because depending on which one you make you
are said to be betting either with the shooter or against it,
if you bet a Pass Line or Come Bet you are with the shooter (a
right bettor) and if you bet a Don’t Pass Line Bet you are
against the shooter (a wrong bettor), although you really don’t
have to worry about betting with or against the dealer when you
are playing virtual craps, because there is no body else there
to give you dirty looks for betting against them.
The game isn’t as hard as people are afraid it is, the
best way to learn to play is to try it out for yourself because
then you will see how much fun it can be. The only real difference
with Virtual Craps and playing in person is that you don’t
have a set shooter and it doesn’t go around the table for
people to take turns, the computer does it all for you all you
have to do is place your bets, click the roll button and see what
the dice land on. This type of game lets you sit in your own home
and still play your favorite game.
