Learn to Play - Learning - Shooting Craps

There are many people around today that think learning to play Craps is to much to do to win some money. It is really not as intimidating as it seems, once you start to play it will all seem very easy. Something that you should consider when you decide to play this amazing game is that the game if very simple and has a very small house edge on some of its better bets.

This game starts when the shooter placing either a Pass Line or Don’t Pass Line bet and all of the other players at the table placing their bets. Then as soon as all bets are laid down on the table, the shooter gets to finally roll the dice and see whether they win, get their point of lose their bet. If the bet is placed on the Pass Line bet and the dice land on 7 or 11 that is a win right away, 2, 3, and 12 are automatic loses. However if the dice land on a point number 4,5,6,8,9, or 10 the bettor can still win if they dice land on that number again before another 7 is rolled. The opposite is absolutely true if you bet a Don’t Pass Line Bet. These two bets are the most popular in the game, and most people decide that this is the bet that they are going to play first. When you play the Pass or Don’t Pass bet the casino has approximately a 1.4% edge but you can get the odds even lower if you take advantage of the Free Odds bet option. When you are looking to make this bet, all you have to do is decide how much you are going to bet on the odds box immediately in front of the Pass Line Bet. The two dice can produce 36 different number combinations, some of them can be made several different ways, and some of them can only be made one way.

In the game of Craps, all winning payoffs are determined by how often the two dice combination can be rolled. Craps is a game where all of the players can either bet that the shooter will make their point or miss their point. Betting that the shooter will make his point is also known as betting right and betting against the shooter is also known as betting wrong. There are a lot of different bets that you can make on the Craps table, to fully understand all of the bets you can read about them at your favorite casino or, better yet, watch other people at the table make them and learn from experience. Once you dive right in and start to play you will find out how easy this game is and how much fun it can be. When you are first starting out you should really just stick to the basic bets, learn as you go, you will have more fun.
